Parkview Green Condominiums is located in Pleasant Hill, a well-established central neighbourhood in Saskatoon. It is part of a revitalization project, which includes a new St. Mary’s School with communal space for a daycare, kindergarten and wellness centre, the creation of additional park space, and new housing.
Parkview Green consists of two 4-storey buildings with 12 units in each. These condos are a blend of bungalow and townhouse designs with each building having four lower level units, four main floor units and four two-storey units. They range in size from just under 1,000 square feet with two bedrooms to 1,364 square feet with three bedrooms. Two of the main floor units are fully wheelchair accessible.
Ehrenburg Homes and River Ridge Homes, two of Saskatoon’s leading home builders, worked together to build Parkview Green. All units are ENERGY STAR qualified, making them some of the most energy efficient and environmentally responsible new homes in the city.
Financial support from the City of Saskatoon and the Government of Saskatchewan is available for eligible purchasers of these units. The City of Saskatoon will provide qualified homebuyers with a 5% non-repayable down payment grant. The Saskatchewan Housing Corporation will offer a forgivable loan of up to $20,000 and a low-interest mortgage of up to $30,000 to eligible households. Additional financial support includes a GST/HST rebate, an energy efficiency rebate and a refund on mortgage loan insurance.

Starting with the Borden Crescent Pilot Project in 1999, the Foundation helped five families become homeowners. Since then, over 350 families have been able to buy brand new homes in various neighborhoods throughout the city, including Parkridge, Forest Grove, Lakewood, Confederation Park, North Park, Mayfair, Westmount, Silverspring and Willowgrove.
Recent projects include Elm Park Terrace and Hunter Crossing. Elm Park Terrace is located at Avenue K and 29th Street, in the established neighbourhood of Westmount. Built by Ehrenburg Homes, one of Saskatoon’s leading home builders, these two-storey condo units have a 5-year home warranty. To help owners manage operating costs, energy efficiency has been a high priority in these homes. Features include high quality energy efficient windows, high efficiency furnaces, and in some units, wastewater heat recovery.
Hunter Crossing is located in the new neighbourhood of Willowgrove. This Accessible-Affordable project is a mixed community consisting of 12 wheelchair accessible attached bungalows within a 40-unit townhouse condominium development. Hunter Crossing was built by North Ridge Developments in partnership with the Affordable New Home Development Foundation. North Ridge consulted with the Canadian Paraplegic Association to ensure the proper design of the units.
